This summer, I have the privilege of serving on summer staff with Fox Valley Christian Action, and I wanted to share why this ministry means so much to me.

Since 1977, FVCA has been serving children and families in under-resourced communities throughout the Fox Valley. More than 30,000 children and teens in our area qualify for FVCA programs, and one of the ways we serve is by providing a week-long overnight Christian summer camp and multi-week leadership opportunities for teens at no cost to their families.

As FVCA celebrates 50 years of summer camp ministry, we are preparing to serve more than 800 campers this summer. Every day, I get to see children build friendships, grow in confidence, and learn about the love of Jesus through camp experiences that include campfires, canoeing, arts and crafts, worship, Bible studies, and so much more.

I'm asking if you would consider sponsoring a camper or making a gift to help provide these life-changing experiences. Your support helps ensure that children and teens can experience a summer filled with faith, encouragement, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to grow.

Together, we can help young people discover the hope found in Christ and become all that Jesus created them to be.
