PRESIDENT & CEO

Jay first served with FVCA as a volunteer in 1987. He then served several seasons on summer staff and joined the year-round career staff in 1992. He served two years as a Community Coordinator in three public housing communities in Elgin, and in 1995 became the Director of Operations. Jay later served for 8 years as the Executive Director, and took on his current role of President & CEO in 2009. Jay grew up in the Chicago suburbs and completed his MBA at Northern Illinois University. Jay and his wife Bella have three adult children. Bella also served several years on summer staff and the school-year volunteer team. They are actively involved in the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Elgin.

DIRECTOR OF CHURCH PARTNERSHIPS & VOLUNTEERS, CFO

Bill served as the Director of Operations from 2015-2026 and now works closely with the Teen Leadership Development Program. His first connection with FVCA was as a pastor of a partner church. Bill lives in Elgin, IL with his wife of over 50 years. He has two children and three grandchildren. Bill’s passions are serving others and team building for the purpose of seeing people grow in their relationship with Christ. Bill enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

GUEST SERVICES COORDINATOR

Marie is our Guest Services Coordinator. She recently joined our team in 2026. She lives in Hampshire with her husband Tony and two children. She enjoys gardening, cooking, thrifting, and going on vacations with her family. She is excited to start her new journey serving at FVCA.

FACILITIES MANAGER

Loyd joined FVCA in August 2025 and lives with his wife in St. Charles. They grew up in the same town in suburban Detroit and came to Chicagoland in 2004, where they raised their two daughters. Volunteer ministry service projects taught him how God works in practical aspects of ministry, even facilities maintenance, and he is happy working behind the scenes to help ensure the mission stays on track. Outside work, Loyd enjoys motorsports and is an avid Detroit sports fan.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Joshua is from Elgin, IL, and lives with his wife in St. Charles, IL. He first became involved with the ministry as a summer volunteer in 2015 and subsequently served on summer staff before starting full-time as the Assistant Director of Operations in 2021. He transitioned to Director of Operations in 2026. Joshua graduated from Iowa State University in 2021 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Joshua enjoys working on cars, tent camping, sailing, and doing home improvement projects.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Revella serves as our Teen Leadership Development Program Director. She is originally from Atlanta, GA, and has lived in the Aurora/Naperville area for several years. She has served with FVCA since 2004, first as a summer staff member, and joined the full-time career staff in 2007. Revella enjoys swimming, cooking, and dancing. She has a passion for seeing teens grow in a relationship with Jesus, develop leadership skills, and become the person that God created them to be!

DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Renee Edsall lives in St. Charles, IL, with her husband and son. She grew up in a small town in Wisconsin and has lived in the Chicagoland area since 2000. Renee has a B.P.S. from Champlain University in Burlington, VT, and a Master’s Certificate in Nonprofit Management from North Park University in Chicago, IL. In 2008, Renee began volunteering in various capacities and has served as the Development Coordinator since 2021. She enjoys fellowship planning at her church and cooking.

GUEST SERVICES MANAGER

Kris serves as our Guest Services Manager and is responsible for working with outside groups who use our facility for retreats, conferences, and other activities. She grew up in Nebraska, graduated from the University of Kansas, and then moved to Illinois in 1992 after getting married. Kris and her husband, Jim, have 3 adult sons. Kris has been at FVCA since 2018 and also enjoys gathering with friends, baking, eating, gardening, praying, and Bible study.

CAMP PROGRAM MANAGER

Lorne was born and raised in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. He and his wife, Cynthia, have four beautiful children. Lorne joined the FVCA team in the fall of 2021 and oversees the entire summer camp program. He’s earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois. His favorite pastimes are playing retro video games, watching college football, and playing tennis.

ASSISTANT FACILITIES MANAGER

Aidan began serving in the summer of 2018 as a facility volunteer and continued that until 2021, when he joined the facility team as a part-time member, mostly for the summer. In 2025, he took on the role of Assistant Facilities Manager and operates most of the custodial and retreat side of the facility team. Outside of the things he does at FVCA, Aidan enjoys cooking, playing video games, lifting weights, and spending time with his friends.

KITCHEN MANAGER

Traci serves as our Kitchen Manager and oversees food service for FVCA's programs and guest groups, but her true passion is building close relationships with our teens and summer staff. Traci lives in Elgin and is a single mom of two, which helps her relate to and minister to the families that FVCA serves. Traci began volunteering in 2009 and has been on staff since 2018. Traci's pastimes include trying new restaurants and traveling with family.
