Alisa - Mom of Three Young Men
When Alisa first heard about FVCA, it started with a quick conversation at Family Dollar. A cashier mentioned a Christian camp.
That first summer changed something. Her boys came home joyful, more confident, and—most of all—connected. One moment still stands out: watching her son run off to make a new friend, something she rarely saw before.
What mattered most to Alisa was the faith foundation. “Christian—that’s what grabbed me from the beginning,” she said. Knowing her sons were surrounded by mentors who shared God’s Word brought her peace.
Over time, FVCA helped each of her boys grow—Jessie carrying forward the relationships and grounding he built here, Jon finding direction toward service, and Joseph stepping into leadership and graduation with confidence.
For Alisa, it’s been a joy to watch her sons become who God created them to be—and she’s grateful they didn’t have to do it alone.
“Just the fact that I have you guys [FVCA] in their life, helping them with that foundation—that is all important to me.”
