We are so thankful for your continued support of FVCA’s ministry.
As we prepare for the upcoming school year and the return of TNT (Teen Night Together), we’re excited about what God will do in the lives of our students.
TNT is FVCA’s leadership development program for middle school and high school students. This weekly program includes a small group Bible lesson, team building, fun activities, a life skills activity or discussion, and dinner! The goal of TNT is to help teenagers grow in their Christian faith and to help them develop the life skills they need to succeed in their future.
Read on to hear how one of our small group leaders has witnessed God at work through TNT — and the impact it’s having on the hearts and lives of teens.

It's fun to hit around a volleyball, shoot baskets, and build relationships with our teens while teaching them how to have a relationship with God. However, my favorite part of working with the middle schoolers at FVCA is the questions they ask. They are genuinely curious and really want to understand the Bible and how to live for God.
I love asking the girls what they’re thankful for and how I can pray for them.
At the beginning of the year, their responses were simple and surface-level — things like “I’m thankful for my family and friends” or “Pray that I do well in school.”
But as the year went on, their answers revealed deeper reflection and growing trust.
“Pray that I make better choices.”
“Pray that I find better friends.”
“Pray for my relationship with my sister… or my mom.”
Watching that shift has been one of the most meaningful parts of the journey
I prayed for the girls throughout the week and reminded them that they can be honest and fully themselves when they talk to God. Prayer doesn’t need fancy words or a specific formula — it’s simply a conversation with Him.
One time, after following up with a girl about something she’d asked me to pray for, she looked surprised and said, “You pray for us when you’re not here?”
I smiled and told her, “Of course. If you ask me to pray for you, I don’t just pray once — I keep praying for you throughout the week.”
TNT is a powerful program. It creates space for trust, growth, and real connection with God — and it’s making a big difference in the lives of the kids who attend.

It all begins with an idea.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
