Leadership Positions

Program Supervisor
Supervises all the day to day aspects of summer camp programming on FVCA’s campus including summer staff support, camper behavior management and discipline.

Operations Supervisor
Serves as the lead for the registration team and helps in managing the registration platform/database to ensure all campers and their families have completed the process.

Unit Leaders
Oversee male, female and/or teen (CORE/CROSSOVER) counselors. He/She encourages, evaluates, and trains camp staff, assisting where possible, and partner with the supervisors to mediate camper disputes.

Activity Leader (Kids)
Maintains the overall program schedule for kids camp program. Supervise all activity coordinators, camp chaplain, evaluates all camp related activities, assisting where needed.
Camp Office Positions

Office Assistant
Helps to facilitate basic multifaceted administrative office tasks including data entry, staff training, integration of volunteer groups into program activities, staff recruiting/scheduling, camper & staff personal communication, program bookkeeping, and assisting with any operations overload.

Camp Interns
Provides support to administrative roles and media needs of camp as well as assist in areas related to the following subject of study: Kinesiology, Parks and Recreation, Education, Counseling, Business, Psychology, Social Work, Biblical Studies, Youth Ministry, Digital Media.
Support Positions

Health Assistant
Responsible primarily for medication administration, managing allergen information, and being on call to deal with day-to-day medical needs of camp

Registration Assistants
Register campers for sessions, communicate with parents about session dates and check-in/out locations, dates, and times

Facilities Assistant
The link between summer camp and the facilities team. Assists in preparing supplies, vehicles, buildings, and spaces to ensure smooth operation of all FVCA summer camp programs

Camp Chaplain
Shares responsibilities with activity coordinators, but is focused on the integration of church partner volunteer groups into program activities

Kitchen Staff
To prepare meals for summer camp staff and participants. (Part Time)

Activity Coordinators
Facilitates arts & crafts, sports & games, waterfront or nature activities, all camp activities, round-up’s, and all other program components

Floaters
Auxiliary staff that provides support to all needs of camp programming including providing supervision coverage between the kids and teen camp programs
Counselor Positions

Camp Counselor
The core of summer camp—counselors are responsible for providing proper supervision and engagement to a assigned group of campers throughout the entire camp summer season.
Logistics Positions

Off Site Registered Nurses (RN)
Registered nurses are utilize at our camper pickup locations to facilitate, verify and complete health checks for all campers who will be in our care

Bus Drivers
FVCA camp provides transportation for campers who live in the Fox Valley region of Illinois. Drivers are used for pickup and drop off sites
